In our most recent community check-in, I mentioned (if you made it all the way to the end 👀) that we had a couple new announcements coming soon. Well, last week, we announced Docebo Inspire 2022 Virtual Conference and, this week, I have the absolute pleasure to announce that the Docebo Community team has grown.

I am thrilled to introduce you to @elliott.vickrey, our new Docebo Community Moderator!

Elliott joined Docebo in November 2021 as a member of our support team until they recently made the move to join the growing community team 🎉. They bring with them extensive product knowledge to support and share within the community. Actually, you may have already seen them helping out...check out these posts:

Cue happy dance…

So, what does this mean? Well, for starters, you’ll be seeing a LOT more of Elliott around here (trust me, that’s a good thing!). We’ll be working closely together to moderate and manage this growing community with our goal to continue making this community the best it can be 💙

I have invited @elliott.vickrey to reply with their introduction so be sure to check it out and then take a minute to give them a warm Docebo Community welcome 👋

Hi there! I’m Elliott, and I’m really excited to be starting as a moderator for Docebo Community. Up until recently, I was a member of the Docebo support team, so you may already know me. If you don’t, it’s nice to meet you!

  1. What's your name? As I said up above, I’m Elliott!
  2. What's your job title and industry? My title is Community Moderation Specialist at Docebo.
  3. How long have you used Docebo? Since November 2021, so about nine months!
  4. Where are you located? I’m located in Seattle, Washington.
  5. In your opinion, what is the most underrated Docebo feature? Pages and menus. You can create so many custom experiences for users based on role, expertise, or anything else you can think of.
  6. If you could have any one superpower, what would it be? The ability to manipulate time. Saturdays could last forever, and lines at the bank could disappear in a blink!
  7. What’s an interesting yet little-known fact about yourself? In high school, I was in a band for exactly one day. 🎶

Feel free to reach out if you need help with anything in community. I’m always happy to lend a hand! 😊

Welcome @elliott.vickrey

Welcome to this awesome community @elliott.vickrey !

Your fun fact makes me think of in high school when I worked as a pizza delivery worker for one shift just to get the shirt, as they wouldn’t sell it. :)

Thank you so much @lrnlab and @Bfarkas!

@Bfarkas, that is genius! Sometimes you have to come up with creative solutions. 😂

Literally worked the shift, got the shirt, asked for my shift pay, bought a couple slices with it for dinner, and quite. Worked out well.

Welcome -

  1. What’s an interesting yet little-known fact about yourself? In high school, I was in a band for exactly one day. 🎶

What instrument did you play for a day?

Ha! Greg that didn’t even occur to me! Now I’m trying to think of the funniest option, like just clapping.

Yay!  So excited to see this community grow and to see more of @elliott.vickrey on here! 🎉🎉🎉

You’re both onto me… @Bfarkas, you are remarkably close! The instrument I played was an exercise ball that I bounced up and down. I suppose you could call me a percussionist. 😂

@Annarose.Peterson Thank you, I’m really excited to start! You’ll be seeing a lot of me, that’s for sure.

Whistle or knee slap? 🎵 Beat box or desk tap? 🎵 No - I can just clap and that is my fast rap… 🎵

Ha, well done sir, well done.

MAN I love this community

🎉🎉🎉🎉 gofficial] welcome to the community @elliott.vickrey! I’m so glad the cat’s finally out of the bag for all of our wonderful members. Your expertise is going to bring SO much value to all of us in here every day.

^^ also I literally laughed out loud at this thread.

Welcome @elliott.vickrey! After only working with Elliott for less than a month I can’t tell you how excited I am that they’re on the team and going to be adding to the community. Just wait!

What’s up @elliott.vickrey. Good luck with keeping this bunch in order, I tell ya.

I can hear my Irish accent coming through as I say it.Or at least @gordon.cooke (Gordon’s) Scottish accent coming through the etherwebs. The whole “lot of us” here demonstrate that we love what we do and love what other people do, and maybe even do what other people love because people love what we do - for them? Lol.

Just like the christening of the last site - May you enjoy the ramblings of a community each and every single day and may the platform never go down on your watch. May the Docebo gods bless the communities travels (at least until the next Inspire), and to grant yer safe passage on all future voyages.

Oh and if you can manipulate time - wait a minute….didn’t you help me with a ticket of two @elliott.vickrey?

Welcome, @elliott.vickrey!
