We have a search bar on our home landing page that does not offer result; only get a “Whoops no results” message regardless of key words. I have tried catalog names and course key words, same result. Not useful to have search bar that does not work.
Right now i have to select a course catalog widget or other widget to go to that page search bar to finally get resulting items but would like feature to work from Home page.

+6Sounds like a widget is giving this result? Do you know which widget it is, maybe a screen shot of home page and destination for context would help. It is probably a either a misconfiguration of the widget, or a user that does not have access to the items that the widget is programed to show.
