I am looking for a way to be able to see or receive notification when someone is added to an automatic group I’ve setup. I see that there’s a User Subscribed to Group notification but it seems like that just goes out to the user. I’m wondering if there’s another notification folks have used maybe paired with an enrollment rule that will push this notification?

Use Case: We have a group setup for our “active” employees (i.e. not on leave) as well as one for folks on leave. I try to keep tabs so I can adjust due dates or enrollments for folks as needed, and of course automate as much as possible.

Thanks for the help!

had a look at the notification and it can be sent to power users and Superadmins as well...we never had any luck with the PU version though...

This one has intrigued me, starting thinking of a few other ways that could do this, and scenarios. Do you use this type of action purely for admin tasks? The one above sounds like so, it is giving me a new idea for an external management tool….

So we needed a notification to say when someone first starts the company to say welcome and here are your country specific resources. We did have them set up in more than one branch eg department and country. So when they joined they would get an email about joining and another about country specific courses. I’ve taken away the second branch as it was apparently causing issues, and because you can’t load people into two branches automatically was causing admin headaches.

So this notification is our solution to the issue.
