Hi there

We are in a heavily compliance driven industry, which requires a number of qualifications to be taken at regular intervals (recertified) with external companies.

As we are compliance driven, we need to have the completion date of the certificate as the expiry, not the date the certificate was uploaded. This is because:

  • Staff are required to join the organisation with at least 3 months left on this qualification (can be anything from 3 months - 3 years depending on certificate required)
  • Certifications are from a registered training organisaiton, so they take 1-4 weeks after completion for the staff member to receive a copy of them

We were hoping to use the “External training” app for this as it allows staff to enter the actual date for completion, however our staff do not have access to a computer or tablet (most of them don’t even have one at home), which means they cannot access the “external training” option.

We have tested trying to access from the web browser, however as you can’t resize/ zoom out of the screen, you literally cannot access the box to upload the certificate to as it is “out of view”. We have tried this on a number of different mobiles and all have the same result.

If we aren’t able to find a solution, this means that 1 person (Central L&D) will need to upload 900-1000 certificates manually each year.

Thanks for your help in advance…
