Does anyone have any suggestions on a way to back up question banks and tests/quizzes that have been built directly in Docebo? I know that tests can be exported to .gift, but how might that then be converted in to a usable backup format?

What type of backup are you looking for?
If you want a backup that can be imported back into Docebo, the GIFT file is already suitable. If you want to run the test outside Docebo, you should be able to use another platform that supports the GIFT format. The only problem would be if the test contains images. You would need to make a separate backup of these as they are not stored in the GIFT file.
Curious why you wouldn’t consider the GIFT format a backup, is it because you can’t open in like Word? It is designed to open in text editors like Notepad++ or similar. There are a few mom and pop made conversion tools out there too if you really wanted, but not sure I’d go through the effort of doing that for al of them until or unless there was a use for it.
