I want to duplicate a test and delete/modify some questions for another purpose. The thing is I have categories associated with my questions and they are not included in the GIFT export.
I don’t have the question in the Test Bank because we test on the sandbox and then use GIFT export/import into production and you cannot import into the Test Bank.
I can assign the categories but the only way I know how to do that is one question at a time, not very efficient.
Any help or suggestions welcome.
I discovered something new today. I can duplicate a test by duplicating the entire course and choosing the duplicate training materials option! Since I am repurposing the test this works for me.
I tried it but the course linked the same training materials, i.e. the test did not get duplicated. The dup course linked the same test from the central repository.
Since my post 2 years ago, I have started using the question bank as I create new tests directly in our production system. It is disappointing that we cannot upload questions directly to the question bank.
Due to issues with CLOR functionality, I pick and choose when to use it. I don’t use the CLOR for training materials that are only in 1 course. I have not found any benefit in doing so.
