We have an storefront and we want to show people what is being released soon. We want to allow them you see the full course/Learning Plan details (description, price, etc) but not be able to purchase it until is complete, or to have the ability for people to enroll/join a list so we can email them when it is released.
Does anyone do this, or does anyone have a work around they use?
Not sure this is possible in the way you imagined...did some testing and the best I could find is to set the “max enrolment quota” to 1, then enable the Waitlist and enroll at least 1 test user or your own admin account. This will allow users to see and interact with the course but they can only be placed on the waitlist (no content access). Sadly, eCommerce remains active so users could still purchase the course if you place it for sale so you probably need to build out a workaround fo that like just stating the price in the description or demo materials. Hope you find something useful here.
