Hy there!

 

I came across with several cases in which the user has completed the course (we have a date, the status is “completed” and they have a certificate), but the progress of the course is 0%, or 33% or 66%. 

We can’t tell why this is happening. I might have a clue, but would like to be sure if it’s something the platform does or it could be a bug in the tool.

Has anyone experienced this as well?

 

 

I’ve seen several things that could cause this.  If you have any optional content on the course and they didn’t complete those items but did complete everything else, I think the overall course completion would be less than 100%.  I also believe that if you add additional materials or replaced materials after they had completed the course, the percentage may be affected.  Then there are the manual enrollment changes - if an admin manually updated their enrollment status to Complete when they weren’t showing as 100% on all items, that would definitely show up as a discrepancy.
