Copying/Duplicating Catalogs

Hi!

Does anyone know if there is a way to copy/duplicate catalogs?

Hi @joni.pope not as far as I know however you can assign it to multiple groups...what is the reason behind wanting to duplicate a catalogue?

Hey @lrnlab, the reasoning is that each of the groups end up having very specific visibility rules (by country, regulatory shenanigans), but some of the catalogs will be similar like the US and Canada for example. For this, it would be nice to find a way to duplicate the US catalogs and then remove and add things for Canada rather than starting from scratch.

 

We’re not huge, but we’ve gotten to the point of having several hundred courses and some of the catalogs are quite large and tedious to manually duplicate. :)
