Has anyone experienced an issue at the end of a course in the new course player with there being no options to get out of the course?

We have found that our courses that were built in Storyline and had a built in Exit Course button tell us we’ve completed the course, but then only gives us a screen with an “x” in the top right corner and a Back to the Lesson (neither of which work). The top right “x” works until we click the Exit Course button we’ve built in. But once we click the Exit Course button, the “x” does nothing. 

This is the screen we get stuck on. Neither the “x” or “Back to the Lesson” do anything.

 

We can and have edited courses we’ve built to get rid of the Exit Course option, so the top right “x” then works fine. However, I randomly checked a vendor built course that came from our bigger company and it ended up having the same issue. 

The only way to get out of the course page is to refresh the entire page, but our users won’t know to do that. We can coach on it, but that’s not ideal. 

Does anyone have any ideas that could help us?

To add to this….. I used our sandbox environment to test going back to the old course player and the courses worked fine even with the Exit Course button we built in. Not sure what the new course player doesn’t like about an exit button.
