Hi - We have a learner who’s due to renew his Certification, he accessed the courses from ‘renew link’, however, upon completing some of the courses, his progress was not recorded, hence, status was reset to ‘Enrolled’. Has this happened to anyone else? How to resolve the issue?
that’s the way it works when you allow then to retake the same course. You're better off using enrolment archiving. There are some updates coming to archiving and certifications if I recall. We have opted to create annual certs in order to maintain a proper record and user transcripts.

Does it mean that once the learner completes the courses in certification, their progress in courses will be reset automatically if they are allowed to retake it? Thank you!
yes as long as they use the “renew” button/link.
