Hi Docebo Community Team,

We’ve had Docebo Learn LMS for about 2 years (including onboarding and setup). We avoided turning on Gamification because we use this system for our external clients.

My understanding is that once we activate Gamification it will show and be available for all of our clients in all branches.

Is there any way to segment and turn it off/on for specific clients who may not want their org to participate in the contests or gamification?

that is correct if you’re only using a single domain. If your are on Extended Enterprise, you can add some CSS to each domain to display the icon or not.

this is an older post but is should work

Thanks @lrnlab I am going to put an idea out there to be able to turn it on/off for a single domain that way I can control the setting per branch “client”. Right now we don’t use it because not all of our 80 clients want to use it.

Good idea...you can control who sees the leaderboard by branch so this would be a natural add-on to that...post it here and I’ll vote it up. Thanks

@Paul_Diniakos while once you enable it - the overall gamification icon will be visible to all, you can still limit who will participate per group and/or branch.

We have created separate leaderboards for customers, partners, and employees (we use groups to separate them but can also be assigned to branches). Our leaderboards for partners and customers are anonymized (so people see their rank, but don’t see others’ names).

A person who is in one of the above groups will see their own leaderboard and how they stand:

A person who is not part of the above groups (so doesn’t have a leaderboard assigned), will only see their own tokens and points, so may not be a big issue for those who don’t want to participate.
