We have a use case where customers by seats to ILT courses on a yearly subscription.
i.e. they should be able to sign up to 5 seats each year, if they do not use the codes in the year, they are no longer valid. Then they get 5 new codes the year after.
If I create codes with an expiration date attached to a subscription, is there any way to automatically send customers new codes each year or to automatically renew the same codes?
We use codes a lot and there is no way to send them out via the system; whether new codes or renewal codes.
We usually log them all in an excel spreadsheet as we create them (easiest way to copy & paste is before you confirm the codes) and then we can send them out as needed.
Have you looked at selling subscriptions instead? You wont need codes and you can set an expiry date with the package...might be a good fit for your use case
