Hi,
I’ve learned that it works “On” the hour. If your ILT is at 11:30, and you have your notification set to go one hour ahead of time, it will go out at 10. I changed the wording of the notification, so it does not specifically say 1 hour.
@sigamoline is correct.
We fixed this by creating a custom recipe using the Outlook integration of Docebo Connect, which sends notifications exactly one hour before the event.
In my opinion, from a user experience perspective, Connect is a great tool, as users receive the event in their calendars whether they use Outlook or not. Plus, it gives us Superadmins the flexibility to create custom notifications with more triggers and conditions than those allowed in Docebo Learn.
@sigamoline Ah okay, thank you! That makes sense because the sessions in question were due to start at 8:30 and 13:30. Seems rather illogical when the setting is literally “1 hour before event start time”. The developers need to fix this!
@francesca.vaccarino Is there a way for you to share your custom recipe with me, please? I can then look to implement this in Connect. I set up the basic recipes from templates but I’m not overly confident in creating one from scratch.
