I just watched the Release Readiness webinar for August. YAY for custom skills!

I am confused on one point though. I thought during the question and answer part Marco said (or at least didn’t say it wasn’t possible) to associate custom skills to Assets. I also understood the term Assets to be referring to informal content in channels.

 

In the KB article on skills though, it says that custom skills cannot be associated with informal content.

 

 

For anyone wondering why I would want to do this. Imagine a field tech takes a video of how to solve a problem and uploads it on a channel. The skill would pertain to our in house system only, so it’s a custom skill.

 

Anyone in the know…. can informal content AKA assets be tied to custom skills?

I confirm custom skills can be associated to informal content

the Knowledge Base refers to the External Discover content, I’ll ask to rephrase it to make more clear
