Our CSM shared this update back in Dec. 2022:

 

Massive Enrollment Options (and update of the currently enrollment LP process which is subject to frequent failures under high load): The problem we intend to solve with this feature is a purely operational and daily usability problem of the function itself: Docebo is growing a lot and we are increasingly faced with customers with a very large user base. When an administrator has to manage thousands of learners, the management operations proposed by the current legacy interfaces are often inadequate tools since they have not been designed to manage large amounts of work. We must therefore equip the Learning Plan function with a series of massive management tools, first of all that of enrollment, including multiple enrollment options in the UI and offering the possibility of enrollment from CSV files.

 

My Team has the following questions:

Massive Unenrollment for Learning Plans: "With the advent of Massive Enrollment in learning plans, comes the potential need for massive unenrollment. I don't see that specifically addressed sin this update] and the current API limits us to singular unenrollment calls for Learning Plans.

Due Dates for Learning Plans: One other Learning Plan need that's been requested internally is due dates. Again, I don't see that mentioned here but it could be something that's considered a Learning Plan Option. 

If you know if either of these needs are being addressed with this update or in consideration for Learning Plans next year, that would be helpful."


 

Hi @MHelme - You can mass unenroll users by clicking the ‘Select page’, then once All Users are selected, click ‘Delete’ on the drop-down. It will however, select All Users assigned. You will need to unselect users who will not be included in the unenrollment.

 

As for the due dates, you can set-up in ‘Settings’. Set no. of days of validity. Note that there is no due date short code in LP Enrollment and no ‘Reminder’ event as well.

That I am not sure of. We only can manage enrollments/unenrollments of courses via API for only for now.

I asked this question and they told me that managing the enrollment periods or resetting the date range is not possible through the API. Please correct me if I am wrong, as this is something we really need. Specifically, I want to reset the date range of specific learning plans for specific users.


We personally need the due dates option for Learning Plans.  Once of our biggest Compliance trainings for our employees involves three separate courses that are grouped into one Learning Plan.  They must complete the entire LP to be marked as complete and get their completion certificate.  Our deadline is a set date for the whole LP, not for the individual courses or for X days after enrollment in the plan (for example, all users must complete the plan by August 31, but we don’t care if you do all 3 courses on the last day before the deadline or space them out from their enrollment date to that deadline date).

Hi @sjennings78 - It is not ideal to set a compliance training using a learning plan because once the learning plan due date has lapsed, the courses will be locked, hence, learners can no longer access them. I’d recommend enrolling learners in individual courses instead.

Hi @KaterinaT - That I what I know too. We do manual enrollments in learning plans.


We need the ability to mass set deadlines for a specific number of users on the learning plan. Currently, I only see the option to go one by one and set a deadline. I should be able to check the box by each user and set a deadline date. This works in course management on an individual course.


We definitely need an update in the Learning Plans!!!
