We would like to create a notification for a specific group of users that will notify them by email when we upload a new asset to a channel. I have tried all relevant events in the notification panel, but none of them had the option to set it to a specific channel or group.
Has anyone dealt with something like this before?

From what I can see, most of the Coach & Share (and Observation Checklist) notifications are meant to be generic and have no options to only be sent for certain channels, groups or branches so you have no options to customize these...

+1It would be a great addition to have the ability to send notifications to specific groups for Coach and Share as soon as an asset is added.
+10to be clear, that option exists for followed channels, it just that you cannot customizes these emails...

+10As far as I know they go out immediately...there are 2 versions...One for users who follow a channel and another for users who add content to a channel that does not require any kind of peer review (be mindful of the conditions regarding the channel expert)….bot are sent when the content is added according to the KB article…
No mention of timing on the followed channel but I recall from testing that it was immediate...

I have a question about the "New content uploaded" notification: does it get sent to everyone who can see the channel, or just the creator/experts of the channel?

+1Presently, you have the option to share an asset either with an individual or across channels. However, what I'm envisioning is the capability to share an asset with a designated group, rather than strictly through a channel. @lrnlab, could you confirm whether this functionality is available?
+10I dont see any such options...just for individual users and users already assigned to a channel...it depends on the channel since not all channels are open to everyone so I can see why this might be limited.

I believe this can be achieved through a Connect integration, either with Outlook or Google Calendar, depending on your provider. It would be an email notification only, but it can serve the purpose. I did it by setting up a trigger with the webhook event “Asset has been uploaded”
