Hello!

We are working on creating our power user profiles and permissions but we are having a hard time understanding the assigned resources part of it.

Does any one have tips or best practices used when assigning the resources?

We will have creating power user profiles for all managers so that they can enroll/unenroll their direct reports.

Very difficult question to answer in general terms...Essentially the Resources are the things you want your PU’s to be able to access, view, edit, etc. depending on the permissions you are granting them. Keep in mind that you cannot mix & match permissions...for example, if you want a PU to be able to work on, set-up, or edit course A, but only be able to enrol users in course B, you would require 2 different profiles...If you give them access to both courses with a role that allows them to edit a course, they will be able to edit both regardless…

Id you have more specific questions, I’d be happy to help...take a look at this:

@yatzirireyes Why aren’t you planning to use the My Team feature for your managers to enroll their direct reports into suggested content?

I don’t think they can unenroll people, but you can allow the person enrolled in the course to unenroll themselves if needed.

I didn’t know they had that capability, that would be a lot easier. Thank you!
