Hello everyone!

We're looking for insights regarding a challenge we’ve encountered in our LMS setup. Here's some context:

Before launching the LMS, we provided specialized training to power users, teaching them how to manage the enrollment status of their members. All our eLearning courses are currently set to "final training locked" to ensure learners can’t skip essential training materials. Additionally, any test-related materials are limited to a maximum of three attempts.

Here’s where we hit a snag: If a learner fails a quiz, their enrollment status reverts to "In Progress" even if the Power user has tried to “Reenroll” them. As a result, managers are unable to update their status and must escalate the issue to us, the super admins, to resolve it. This adds a layer of manual work we’re hoping to streamline.

We’re curious if anyone has faced a similar situation. Is there a way to allow our power users to modify the status of training materials within a course—without needing super admin privileges? Any suggestions, tips, or creative workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

If your power users have access to edit course, + access to view users and reports, they should be able to reset the leaners’ failed objects.

Simply changing the enrolment status has no effect on resetting or changing the status of the learning objects. For example, if you un-enrol a user who already completed a course, then re-enrol them, they will still show as completed, only with a new completion date (the date of new enrolment)

Thank you much @lrnlab I updated some of the permission to our existing power user profile.
