Task Widget - Certifcations to renew

Question- if we have a course set up to retrain in 2 years, how early does the course appear in the task widget under certifications to renew with the renew button? We have been testing this feature but with courses renewing in under 10 days so we can see how it works. My hope is it would not appear there until like 30 days in advance or something.

@lrnlab Thanks - yes the just confirmed that the course stays in the widget with the prominent number even if the course is not due for 1.5 years or whatever.

@lrnlab I renamed it Courses to Renew but you see the number 1 on there. In this use case, this course re-certifies every 2 years so that number stays there during that time, as per help desk. Which is kind of a bummer as it draws your attention to it even though its not due for over a year.

Ah, you mean the badge...OK got it...yes that number had nothing to do with any dates...just totals of what’s to renew...should be set to only show within a certain time prior to the expiry...Maybe this needs to posted as an idea of it hasn't already…
