We have many courses that use an embedded link of a Vimeo video.  They have all worked for over a year, and suddenly the videos are no longer playing.  The privacy is setup properly within Vimeo and verified that the videos are accessible without a login.  I also removed the training material and added it back and all the learners can see is a black screen.  Has anyone had this issue before?  This has worked for a long time so I’m not sure what changed.

Thanks Elliott.  I submitted a ticket yesterday, but unfortunately they haven’t been able to resolve it.

@Bfarkas - I’m using the Video Training Material, Embed Video URL.  The Vimeo link I’m using is the share video link.  All the videos have been working for almost a year, but they suddenly stopped working.


We’ve experienced the same issue starting a few days ago with Vimeo. The privacy settings are different from what they were when we set it up and we need to upgrade...I think. It’s been confusing.


Following. We are also having the same issue with Vimeo links. I have enabled the new course player for my company, so I assume the issue has to do with how Vimeo links work in the new player.  I’d like to know if this is an issue that can be resolved, or if I should plan to replace all my Vimeo videos with .mp4 files.
