Hi community,

Fairly new to Docebo, as I just launched to Leadership last week, I would like to reach out here and ask all of the pros/champions a question. How did you learn to use articulate? Did you use YouTube, take some courses, progress through trial and error? Tell me all your tips and tricks. I saw there is training through the articulate website, did anyone go this route and was it beneficial?

I am completely new to applications like articulate. Many thanks in advance!

@ssartain - hi. So you can probably gleam the basics from YouTube…but to really get the full benefit from Articulate will take some practice…and even working with it for years you may find that you are running into some error message.

To be fair, your question is kind of like asking for “an assist with a hammer” - the metaphor being can you give a hand with a tool. But the more advanced in instructional design will help you realize that articulate is but a tool in the toolshed.

That said - here are a few references that help me:

This is great, thank you!

@ssartain Hello… when we launched Articulate about 8 years ago, we decided to hire someone to come teach our team. It was a good way to start. Since then, we’ve had a few IDDs on the team who have pushed their skills further and become our ‘gurus’.

@ssartain between the two of us (myself and Karen) we can guide you towards some other things. Just ping when you feel trapped...
