Hi Docebo team,

 

I’m trying to create a database of content (courses, assets, learning plans) that is searchable. I’m wondering if leveraging the “skills” feature would help with this.

Two questions about this:

  1. Any advice on creating a full searchable database for all content in one place?
  2. I can create a custom report for assets that has a column for Skills, but I can’t figure out how to create a custom report for Courses that has a column for Skills. Any advice on that?

HI @suzannahM don’t believe there is any such report that would show what skills are attached to a course. Skills run more like channels a this point. Definitely something that would be needed though. 

If you are looking more better and more consistent search results fo your users, I would recommend using TAGS. You can ad the Skills there as well but these do not output to reports unfortunately.
