Happy Spring everyone 🌷🌻

I’m so happy that all the ❄️snow❄️ is finally gone (Canadian winters are SO long!!!) and that the warmer weather is starting to stick around. But...before we say goodbye to April, let’s take some time to look back at all the goodness from the community this past month.

So, grab your favourite drink and/or snack and let’s begin! 🙂

:new:What’s New in Docebo Community?

We’re excited to share these new arrivals to the community:

  1. Our newly refreshed Guides Library📚. Check out this recent post that outlines what you’ll find inside and how it differs from the Docebo Knowledge Base. Also, gigantic shoutout to @pjensen for creating our first-ever customer authored tutorial
  2. Launch of new webinar series, Docebo University Live 🖥️. The very first session of DU Live was held on April 6 and the topic was Managing and Automating Enrollments (if you missed it, you can catch the on-demand version here. Stay tuned, our next DU Live webinar is on Gamification and we’ll be announcing the date very soon!
  3. Mid-month Maintenance Release 📆 details now live in Product Updates. Be sure to subscribe to the Product Updates page so you are notified when we post the monthly Release Roundup, What’s in your Sandbox (Release Preview) and now the mid-month Maintenance Release updates. We’re making sure you never miss an update!

:bulb:Idea Status

Since last month’s check-in, we’ve had 248 new ideas submitted (that’s an average of 50 new ideas every week!). 💥

Currently, we have a total of 1279 ideas and here’s a breakdown within each status:

We are committed to reviewing all new ideas each week in order to update the status. If you are new here, or are in need of a refresher,🛎️check out this post that outlines:

  • 3 things you need to do before you submit an idea
  • detailed status descriptions
  • our commitment to your ideas

:busts_in_silhouette:Member Count & Leaderboard

We love seeing all of our new members join us each week! April has been a really strong month as we’ve welcomed an average of 62 members per week (hitting our weekly goal of 50 or more!). Welcome to you all 👋 This puts us on track to hit 3000 members in just a couple of months as our current member count is just over 2700 members. Big congratulations to @mnordeman who was our 2500th member AND who has already ranked up to Novice II. Way to go! 👍

Speaking of ranking up, we highlight all of the members that level up in their ranks along with the number of new members and those that made it into our top 5 leaderboard each week (here’s last week’s results). Did you know that our weekly leaderboard resets every Sunday? That means every week the friendly (but fierce!) competition is on to claim a spot in our weekly top 5. Since our last check in, @modonetwork @Neil Patterson @rmccormick @kmanoj and @TaiSaxty all claimed a spot in our top 5 leaderboard 🙌. So, it’s anyone’s game...well, except for the last 8 consecutive weeks because @Bfarkas has held on to the top spot for each one (which is a new community record for consecutive #1’s btw 😮). The last record was 7 consecutive weeks and was held by our very first community hero and the one who is at the top of our all-time leaderboard, @lrnlab.

In case you haven’t seen it recently, here’s the current top 10 in our all-time leaderboard 🏆:

I can’t wait to see 👀 who will join @lrnlab and become our next community Hero!

:interrobang:Questions Asked & Best Answers

As for questions asked and best answers in April, here are the results:

  • 89 questions asked
  • 21 tagged with Best Answer
  • 24% with Best Answers (⬇️10% from March)
  • 96%  answered by peer
  • <10 hrs average response time

While the number of questions asked and percentage of best answers marked are lower than we’d like to see, there’s still some good news! In April, we saw a 3% increase in our percentage of answered by a peer and our average response time dropped by 21.5 HOURS (👈 that’s not a typo!). Our average response time in March was 31 hours and in April, it has been 9 hours and 30 minutes which means if you created a post, the average time to getting a member to reply was less than 10 hours...if not sooner. Talk about speedy! 🏎️

Here’s the thing, though...questions are getting a bunch of replies but one of the replies isn’t being marked as a Best Answer. Tagging a Best Answer to a question is important as it pins the answer to the top of the post right underneath the question so that members don’t have to scroll through all the replies to find the answer. ⚠️If your question has multiple best answers then it may actually be a conversation instead of a question.

As a friendly reminder, here’s the difference between the two:

  • Posting a Question❓signifies to the community that you are looking for a solution to a specific question or problem.
  • Posting a Conversation❗️signifies to the community that you’d like to share something and, well, start a conversation. This may still be in the form of a question, but you’re not looking for a specific answer. Rather, you want to gather a collection of thoughts and opinions as well as brainstorm with others.

So, I’ll leave you with this challenge:

Let’s see if we can boost our percentage of questions with Best Answers marked back up to at least 35% next month.

Not sure how you can help? Try this:

  • If you have previously asked a question, you can find it within your profile under ‘Posts’. Please take some time to review the replies you’ve received and tag one as the Best Answer.

Are you with me!?

Why not check out these posts that have yet to receive a reply to help out a fellow member? Who knows, your answer may turn out to be the Best Answer ✔️
