I am hoping I have missed something somewhere and this is possible. Can you change/adapt the calendar attachment ? If so can someone point me in the right direction - where can this be done in Docebo and how. I am finding what is sent is dull and boring and want to make it more engaging similar to the notification.

You haven't missed anything—currently, the native .ics calendar attachment generated by Docebo's notification engine is hardcoded and cannot be customized or styled directly within the platform. As noted in the Customizing the notification message documentation, you can only toggle the attachment on or off at the bottom of the email configuration.
In organizations I've worked with, the pattern that holds up best when they want highly engaging, branded calendar invites is to bypass the native attachment entirely.
Do you currently have Docebo Connect (or another automation tool like Power Automate or Make)?
If you do, the standard approach is to turn off the Docebo calendar attachment and use a webhook triggered by the ILT enrollment. This triggers Connect to send a native Outlook 365 or Google Calendar invite directly to the learner. That method gives you 100% control over the HTML design, formatting, and engagement level of the calendar invite, completely solving the "dull and boring" issue.
