Unanswered questions

This morning we had a pop-up in our Docebo instance inviting us to preview Harmony Search.I’ve put in a ticket to find out if all SuperAdmins saw this pop-up, or any other users. We cannot turn on AI features without asking for a review from our IT Security team. Due to the distributed nature of our companies and our L&D teams, we have numerous SuperAdmins in our system across multiple extended enterprise portals. While I’m pretty confident that my team knows the rules (and I sent out a reminder to everyone this morning), a prompt like this one may cause someone to circumvent our process.I reached out to my SCM to ask: Can we ensure that advertisements like this will NOT be turned on for our Docebo instance in the future? Has anyone had a similar issue?

First recipe and of course I can’t get it to work.  I have a webhook trigger to get the info from group.user.added.  I want to compare the group_id to only get one certain group.  I have added in an if statement but not matter how I define it, it does not match.  I have changed it to an integer, changed it to a string.  Attempted to use the group name instead.  Nothing I am doing is making it fall into the if statement.  Any help would be appreciated.  

Hi folks! Within our platform we have many users that create playlists for their managers or other team members. Some people are getting notifications while others are not and it is creating a hiccup in the user experience. Note that all those that are creating and sharing these playlists, have the same permissions and notifications are also set up the same. Has anyone run into this issue or maybe I have the notifications set up wrong. Can anyone share how they have their notifications set up for this specifically? Thanks!  

I have an automatic group set up for onboarding to capture job title and start date. However, there are returning employees that do not need our full onboarding coursework, but they get captured in this automatic group. I know you can manually add users to automatic groups, but can you manually remove users from automatic groups, without them being added back when the group rules run? 

Hi everyone,I know there have been past discussions and ideas shared around pulling custom field data from SCORM files, but I haven’t seen any recent updates or solutions.We’re trying to figure out whether it’s possible to get more detailed reporting from SCORM content beyond what’s currently available in the custom report builder. We also haven’t found anything in the API browser that allows access to more detailed SCORM data.We can drill into course report to view learner responses, but this has to be done one user at a time, which isn’t very efficient for larger groups.Ideally, we’d like to report on the following:Username (who answered) Question and the learner’s answer Correct/Incorrect Score Text-entry responses Timestamp Number of attemptsFor context, we’re using SCORM 2004 for text-entry interactions and SCORM 1.2 for multiple-choice content.

Does anyone use automation rules to help with automatic enrollments? Looking to streamline a process that could get very complicated as new customers onboard.

Dear Community,Harmony has great potential and is already working quite well for us (still waiting for some reports to dive deeper into actual usage 🙂).I was wondering whether there is a possibility—or a workaround—to build a custom knowledge base for Harmony without making the source material accessible to learners.Currently, I can upload PDFs, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files to a course, assign it to users, and make the content accessible via Harmony. However, this also means that the course containing the files is visible to learners.Some of the files I would like to use as a custom knowledge base are unformatted and not particularly user-friendly (especially from a learner perspective). They are meant purely as background information and not as learning material that should be directly accessible.Has anyone done something like this before? Hello, I have several courses that have an Observation Checklist attached.  The current status is that the courses are marked as completed when the user has completed the eLearning, even though the OC is sitting in progress.Is there a way to run a report of all in progress Observation Checklists which indicates users have completed the eLearning and are waiting for the assessment to take place?

Hello, all!A manager reached out to me saying that one of his employees completed a course, but it’s listed as an expired certification under his “Team Members” dashboard. As a Superadmin, I can see that the employee did in fact complete the course and has a certification dated for. Does anyone know how I could manually update the certification to unexpired on the manager “Team Members” dashboard? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have looked but not found documentation on who can use API’s.  I have a function that wants to pull reporting on a few select courses via API.  I want to make sure if I create a profile and permission it for reporting and the appropriate course/user resources that they will not be able to perform any other API calls sucesfully, only the ‘GET’s’ related to the report they are executing.  That I don’t need to provide superadmin role.  Bonus points if you can share the knowledge document link 😀TIA!

Hello, We are setting up a new extended enterprise for Company 2 in our organization. That means we have set up our new Branch and we want all employees with @company2.com in their email when they SSO  to be directed into this Branch. The problem comes from the branch code.Our current set up is the MS Entra field Location is being used as the Branch Code. But Company 2 has the same locations as Company 1 so we cannot reuse the branch code and have the same hierarchy (example Company1 / Vancouver, Company2 / Vancouver )Given our company structure, we are not able to modify the fields in entra. Is there a way in the SAML settings to concatenate the attributes together for the branch code, so that for example we can have Company + Location as the branch code? 

We are currently using LinkedIn Learning since we had that prior to Docebo.  We are wanting to evaluate some other content providers that will have good selection of business skills, integrates well with Docebo, includes AI Role plays within the content, etc. I’m interested in what others are using and the positives/negatives!

Hey All,Has anyone used extended enterprise to give users access to training before their start date? We import new users from a CSV output from workday (We do not have the workday connection). If we add a personal email field to their user profile would we be able to merge them once they have started? Looking for recommendations on how to implement this.

Hi Docebo community! I'm working on two issues with our white-labeled Docebo instance and would love some guidance.Issue 1: Google search snippet showing "Browse Docebo's courses and learning paths" When users Google our learning portal, the search result shows Docebo's default language instead of our brand name. I've tried updating the text via the English translation settings, but the change isn't reflecting in the Google snippet — it's only adding text beneath our header on the page itself. I've also tried clearing the field and adding a tab space (as suggested previously), but the old text is still appearing in Google.Is there a specific translation key that controls what Google indexes? Since we are using a white-labeled Docebo domain (not a registered custom domain), does Google re-crawl need to be triggered through Docebo directly? Any tips on getting our logo to populate in the Google search result as well?Issue 2: Sign-out redirect When a user signs out of our Learning Center,

I’m coordinating a course with three sessions occurring throughout this year.  The course relies on the Forum, asking participants to respond to questions before the start of each class in the session (works). As I’m approaching the second session, is there a way to limit the visibility of the responses in the first session?  I’d like new learners to have a fresh slate and also want to preserve the comments/conversations from the first session. 

I am posting  for my tech person who is building out our recipes. We would appreciate any help possible. "We have a batch recipe (modeled off the Azure example) that is not picking up changes to users, but when I run the recipes one-off for just that user they pick up just fine. Our recipes are linked to Snowflake, and run 2x daily after snowflake updates. Example: I made an update to 2 user profiles, made sure their new data was in snowflake, and ran the batch. It did not pick up the users. I then used a WHERE SQL filter on the snowflake trigger in the same recipe for just 1 user at a time, and it worked. the recipe picked them up and created them in Docebo with all the correct information. Why were these users not picked up in my batches? There are 3 batches each recipe run, and each batch has different users."

Can anyone share or point to a better explanation of what Spaces do in Companion?  The documentation is good on how to set them up, but not really what they’re for.  I’ve set-up some trial spaces and when I’m on the assigned URLs I don’t see different responses based on the assigned resources, so i feel like I’m just missing someting basic somewhere.

Hi EveryoneWhen accessing a course via Course Management the ENROLMENTS tab and the REPORTS tab still include deactivated users.  Why is this and can they be removed/deactivated so that a report can be run from the course page instead of having to use the reports function from the Admin menu?Many thanks

I have a custom public page that uses HTML and custom CSS to act as a home page and hides the catalog page and the links in the navigation bar.When I turn on the new Admin Navigation, it “un-hides” those links and “un-hides” the catalog page.I am sure it’s just a piece of code somewhere, but I am not sure where. 

We have new hires start almost every week on Tuesdays. They need to be enrolled into a VILT session that corresponds with that week.  I am looking for best practices on how to set up an automation to get new hires into the course and session/event for that week. For example We will have one group start on Tuesday June 9 and another on Tuesday June 16.  I have a new hire overall group built to show the onboarding page until they finish the last general course to then be shown the regular home page. This is based off an additional field of new hire yes or no. I will have access to their hire date as well. 

We have created a scheduled report for external trainings waiting for approval that runs every three days.  The vast majority of the time, there is no data in the report (not trainings waiting on approval). Is there a way to only have the report send if there is data in it?

Checking in on the MCP beta roadmap - are there plans to expand functionality before the broader summer release?Specifically, I’m interested in whether we’ll see:The ability to take admin actions (e.g., enrollments, course or notification creation, custom report creation) Visibility into users and courses beyond just my own data as a superadminIn its current state, the beta feels closer to a v0.5. The main gap is that it’s limited to self-focused insights, whereas the real value for a lot of folks (including Power Users) would come from being able to view and take action across other users and content.

Hello Everyone,I am looking for some help with improving the dashboard I am working on. I am currently facing two problems which I am unable to solve. I want completion trend graph to have accumulated data. Now it shows only completions on specific month. I want to show how it increases. Is there any possibility to achieve it? I don’t see any Running Total option here. In the pivot table, I have accumulated completions, but if there weren’t any completions in specific month, there is empty cell, while it should contain data from previous month. Is it possible to show it like this?Thank you in advance for any advise.

Has anyone figured out how to / whether it’s possible to customise the background colour of the new user menu and top banner in the new navigation mode? As you can (hopefully) see from the comparison images below (new navigation mode at top, legacy version below) we previously had the whole page including top banner all one colour, now it’s defaulting to white and I can’t see how to adjust this.
