managing uncompleted checklists - leavers

Does anyone know of a way of managing/deleting an observation checklist that has not been completed. We have 4000+ employees and this is now becoming a problem with the amount of observation checklists that are just sat there in a manager to do list but will never be signed off as they are an ex-employee.

"Automatically disenrol expired users" setting

Hello all,I see this question was asked before but still keen to find out if there are any developments or ways around it.I just tested below setting on the Course shell and it doesn’t seem to be working, so I wonder why it’s there in the first place? There is no status of Failed?

Does anyone else find it strange that there is no course status of “failed” or “not passed” for a user? I set up an e-Learning shell with three training objects (a file download, an evaluation, and a survey). I set the test as requiring 100% and programmed two fake questions, then ran through the course and purposefully failed the evaluation with my test account. I know how to look at the score and how to go into the Reports tab and see which of the training materials the learner failed but the user remains in the status of In Progress. What I’m looking for is the ability to identify who failed the course, not a single learning object. Reports (screenshot included) show my test user only completed 66% of the course and is In Progress. In reality, the user completed 100% of the course; and they failed the evaluation. Enrollments tab (screenshot included) shows me the user’s score but not what a passing score is so admins would have to research that before we looked at the status this wa

East Coast User Group

I saw a New York group and joined it, but I think maybe having an East Coast group would be great...while in person might be tough (other than at Inspire perhaps), we can leverage online meetings until we can figure out if an in-person option is viable.The ideas is that we all be in the same time zone, more or less. Anyone is welcome to join this group and I look forward to the collaborative and inspirational discussions.What would you like to name the group? Docebo In Person Training

Does Docebo allow organizations/companies that they partner with to schedule time for a live virtual high level overview of the platform for training purposes?I have a group of approximately 15-20 individuals who will be new Power Users within my organization who need to be trained on how to use the platform (creating and managing courses/learning plans, running reports, view a user personal summary, deactivate users, enroll learners into courses/learning plans, how to set up notifications, etc.). They have expressed that they all won’t have time to go through an extensive Docebo University experience or set aside time to watch multiple videos. Was hoping that this is a service that Docebo offers as a part of their payment plans if requested by the organization.I appreciate any help/clarity you can provide!

Can Docebo display or add a filter under "Course Management" to show which courses are "Published" or "Under Maint"?

Hello - Newer user here.Does anyone know if Docebo can display or add a column under “Course Management” to show & filter which course is currently Published or Under Maint? Currently, I have to edit each on to open the course and find out if they are published or not.

Hello friends!Thanks in advance for your ideas and suggestions! I have found this community to be very helpful.I want my learners to journal their experience as they move through the course and have their submissions available for their future review. I am creating it as an assignment to prompt them to engage in the process, but it will not be graded.Assignments seems to require grading before the learner can review their submission - I created a Help Desk Request to see if this is true. But I’m wondering:Have you included an opportunity for reflection, such as a journal, in a course you created? Is there a way for learners to upload documents for their future reference but not for grading? Is there a tool besides Assignments that I should consider?Thanks!Andrea

Best Practice for Reporting ILT Learning Hours

Hello,After combing through data included in my ILT reports and I’m finding it very difficult to get accurate and trustworthy hours reported for our learners. What I had expected is to see is for a course containing sessions with events, that the total time completed for a learner would be the sum of attended events. Apparently Docebo doesn’t do this. I see the average time for the course set from the course management level, but this will not return the correct information. Outside of creating my own relational database, is there something I’m missing from a best practice standpoint to get Docebo to directly report this basic information? Thanks.

Setting Enrollment Rules for promoted leaders

Hello,I need some knowledge on how to pull users who have been promoted into a leadership role after a particular date. I know I need the rule that says: User additional field: Job Level is not equal to STAFF and User additional field: NewHireFlag contains 0 The target is only for current employees promoted to leadership and not new hires. Resetting course completion

Can someone please tell me what happens if admin resets course completion to “not started?” I know the previous completion is archived, but what are the downsides of doing this? I want our learners to see “not started” for courses when the “certification” we assigned has expired. The certification and retraining notifications and processes are not intuitive enough for learners to know they have work to complete.

Courses in a catalog

Why is it necessary to go thru an API to find a list of courses in a catalog?. Been on help chat for over an hour and cannot get it to work. Just want to download a list of courses in a specific catalog in our platform to see what I need to add/delete instead of scrolling through page after page. Suggestions welcome. TY!

Product Updates and Readiness

Are there plans going into 2025 to improve the advance notification system for product updates? Every release readiness webinar happens AFTER the features have gone live in Production. This is in no way a Readiness Webinar as we can’t evaluate our readiness for something that has already happened. Ideally, the webinar would happen at minimum the week prior to deployment.

Warning dialog box to pop-up when the user accidentally deletes a thumbnail

When you go edit training material, under “Upload your own thumbnail”, at that point where the user may accidentally click "x" on the image, before that gets deleted from the system, wouldn't it make sense to have a dialog box that would ask the user "Are you sure that you want to permanently delete this image?" for example? Especially when there are multiple developers accessing the same platform and that image is being used in numerous courses

Change/Hide Player Screen - This content has ended. You may close this window"

When a training material is completed, the text "The content has ended. You may close this window.” appears. It’s confusing our learners as they think the course is done and they close it, so they’re not continuing to the next “lesson”. It's referring to that particular training material, not the course. I asked Docebo for help and they didn’t have anything they could do. The text is not included in the localization tool, so we can’t just change what it says. They advised I ask my front end team to hide it with CSS. However the screen doesn’t stay very long, so I am unable to identify the CSS to target. Does anyone have suggestions or CSS they’re using to overcome this issue?

Docebo and MS Teams integration

Hi all you wonderful people!We are thinking about getting the new Docebo/MS Teams integration and I wanted to start a conversation with anyone that has feedback on the integration and maybe even some lessons learned.I am sure our learning journey is similar to many of your stories, but basically we are always looking for ways to lessen the barriers to learning and since we use MS Teams throughout the day, this seems like a good option to help with that.
