Greetings, all. I’m building out our first template for a series of xAPI files out of Storyline360. Each will have a quiz component, generally 8-12 questions, each worth 1 point, folks need to get 65% correct or better to complete the course. I’ve got most of it working, but when I import into Docebo and pass the quiz, in my Activities page it’s showing a combination of a percent and points (see below image). Instead of saying I got 7 out of 8, it says 87.5 out of 8 in Statistics (in points), and instead of 87.5%, it shows 1093.75% in Statistics (in percent). Any thoughts? Oh - sort-of related, I’ve got the final button in the xAPI module set to ‘close lightbox’ to get back into the Docebo course, and that does not work at all. Thanks in advance!
Since yesterday (Sept. 8), all our background jobs are stalled...Cannot import users, run reports, mass enrollments, etc. All seems to be ‘stuck’. We logged a ticket and it has been escalated, etc. Just wondering who else may be experiencing this issue and what if anything you are doing to mitigate this serious service issue. We sent out an alert to all our PU’s to ask them to refrain from logging any new jobs and have aborted all current jobs. This will surely be frustrating for many and will cause some disruptions I’m sure. Thanks all.
Our content team needs to assign items from our course repository, but it doesn’t seem to be an option that I can find anywhere when setting up the profiles for courses. Our content team now has access as a super admin which we want to eliminate if at all possibleI created a power user and gave course edit and view permissions.
Did anyone have best practice or workaround to show the exact due date in Docebo landing (Home) page?I’ve reviewed the idea & running into the same situation. Ensure that I voted the proposal. In home page the due date shows as a calendar icon instead of showing the exact dates. Even I’ve tried with playing cards or list in multiple custom widgets… Same result... it shows either calendar Icon (for future due date) or X months overdue in course list/cards… Any example here to create the more engaging & user-friendly home page? Setting course due dates for learners and managers: Task List and My Team
We’ve been creating notifications recently, but we’ve run into an issue with the [expire_at] not generating the due date in the text of the notification. We currently have the Days of Validity set to 21 days after enrollment. We also currently have the “soft deadline” set to on - could this be what is cause the [expire_at] to not work?
I’m about to have somewhere between 300 and 400 short software training videos (lesson and demo pairs) that will live for the most part inside Storyline360-generated Scorm learning objects. There is a chance we may also need to place some of those into the Central Repository for use outside of the learning objects. With so many videos, there is a high likelihood that we may need to edit content from time to time and I’m trying to avoid having to replace videos in (potentially) several places every time we do an edit, so I’m intending to iFrame embed our video content in both the learning modules and in Docebo training materials. Problem - cost. For this many videos, we’re up against the high-end plans for Wistia, Vimeo and YouTube. But, I can load videos into our Docebo Central Repository and use them/view them in any course… so is there a way to generate an iFrame URL directly from the video content in our central repository? And if so, if/when that video is replaced due to an edit,
Can you change the placement of the join session button (or auto expand the drop down box). users can’t find itIs there a way through CSS or another setting to automatically expand the course/session enrollment page? We are having two issues: People enrolled in a session do not know to expand the session to get to the Join button when a session starts People enrolled into a course (but not a session) will see a list of sessions (often only 1 session) and not see the Enroll in this session button. Use Case #2 is needed for the new ILT bundles that we want to launch very soon. Notice in the screenshot below that there is a message that you are not enrolled in a session but we are concerned that someone looking at this page who received a message they were enrolled in this course would also assume they were enrolled in the only session that is listed.
We have a learner (and this has happened before to others) where they have renewed a training course and everything (including the completion date, reports, user summary etc) shows the new date, however the certificate (accessed through the rosette symbol) still shows an old date. Does anyone know why?
Hi All, I’m curious if this is something I am seeing simply as an admin or if all users see this. When I review catalog courses by click on the Course Catalog link via the User Menu, courses will show that I’m enrolled even if I completed them. However, when I review the courses via the My Courses and Learning Plans sections, they will correctly show my status as completed. Is this done intentionally? Does this only occur when new versions of training material are uploaded? It seems confusing to me as a learner that they would show differently.Thank You! Jason
Hello,Our platform has several hundred user accounts that have never logged in. Before we deactivate them, I wanted to potentially leverage the "User has not logged in (in a specific time period)" notification. It is currently turned OFF.The default for the notification appears to be seven days after the event or account creation. If I change the period to 60 or 75 days and then enable the notification, will Docebo go back and process accounts with those specific time parameters? As we move forward, the plan is to turn the notification on with a standard 7-day window. Can I also have two versions of the notification running? One version runs at the 7-day period, and then another takes the same action but at a later period, say 60-days after account creation.
Has anyone had issues with videos being uploaded to training material that are very blurred for the first 30 seconds after being rendered by the Docebo system? We have loaded over 400 videos and have not has any issues before. If I upload in H264 then only the first 5 seconds are blurred, but If I use an HEVC H265 codec it takes 30 seconds to become clear. If I look at the original files using, say, VLC they are clear and in Premier Pro they are clear. I am using the same Export setting as all my other video’s.Any suggestions? Thanks Gary
Hi,I have setup course catalog and added courseA which are displayed on internal page only. When the learner is in the group which has permission to enroll and log-in as the learner, I can see the specified courseA in the catalog only. However, when the learner is not in the group which has permission to enroll and log-in as the learner, I can see not only the courseA in the course catalog but also other courses. Is there any configuration I am missing?
Happy Friday, Extended Enterprisers!I’m looking to chat with customers who are currently leveraging Docebo (or, a combination of Docebo and other platforms) for demand gen and lead gen - i.e. generating EQLs for their organization. Please get in touch with me here if this is something you’re doing (or interested in doing but don’t know where to begin). Thanks, have a great weekend ahead!Sam
We have Series LPs where the enrollees are manually added to the next series of Courses. How does the Transaction trigger from these “automatic” enrollments? There is not button to toggle to trigger the transaction. And we don’t store CC info. We are using Authorize.Net as our payment gateway. I can’t find anything in Knowledge Base or the Community. Any thoughts on how to 1) store a CC number and 2) subsequently trigger the transaction and receipt.
We use a personality test called Harrison’s and sell it to our members at cost.In our old workflow we have a system where people fill out a form and get charged for it - and can check out as often as they want (e.g. a poweruser can buy this for 20 of their employees) I’m fine handling the backend stuff myself, but is there a way for me to put a form with a fee (or even just a fee) in docebo that isn’t a one-time purchase? Almost as if it were a cash version of the rewards shop. Worst case I’ll outlink or iframe the whole process, but it would be nice to put it in Docebo.
