We’ve had a few users who added avatars complain that the way the crop of their avatar after uploading and that the default crop places their face in a strange place in the frame or cuts it off in an undesirable way. 

It sounds like they’d appreciate the ability to select or adjust the crop at upload time. Obviously a low-priority thing, but certainly a nice-to-have!
