How do you make MS Teams treat learners as invited guests who can bypass the lobby?
Our setup: We have integrated Microsoft Teams for our ILT and have individually paired each instructor, so our ILT Events are MS Teams Meetings on their individual Outlook calendars. However, learners do not get individually invited to the Teams Meeting, and instead click the hyperlinked button in Docebo to join. The default MS Teams Meeting Option for “Who can bypass the lobby” is “People in my org and guests,” and Microsoft states that “guests” can bypass only if they were sent or forwarded the invite (source: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/who-can-bypass-meeting-lobby).
Anyone have advice on how to make the Docebo-to-MS Teams integration recognize learners as invited guests who bypass the lobby?
Note: I know that forwarding the invitation from Outlook would work, but that is not sustainable for our use case. Another alternative is to set the Meeting Option to all “Everyone” to bypass the lobby, but we would like to have some restrictions to enter.
