Is there anyway to make a checklist go to a manager for approval when it’s a training material in a course?  Or do you have to schedule the checklist by itself to have those approvals?

according to the KB article, yes you can have the manager approve the checklist as long as it’s configured that way when it’s loaded in the course.

Use Case:

After the Completion of the LP. Automatically the Checklist goes out to the manager, once filled by the learner. Manager rejects or approves the checklist basis which the Step 2 of the LP is assigned. 

Here is how we have created it.

  • Begin with the Checklist from  the Admin Menu. Create one with the details as to the info that needs to be in there filled by the learner. 
  • Enter Group filter, feedback, learnings or custom details that a learner submits to the manger, add to the training material.
  • Configure the Notification for the Checklist, So that when Manager recieves an email, he is directed to the checklist for approval.
  • Manger has two options either to accept or reject. 
  • Rejection directs the user to retake the course (Notification Configured).
  • Acceptance leads to the assignment of the Step 2 in the LP.
