I know there has been a post about this sometime ago and I can’t find it.

I need to report on all the courses in our system, and the only way I can do that is if I have a user enrolled in the course.  Is there an easy way to enroll someone into all of my courses?

To be specific, we just need to enroll them into e-learning courses.

I realized I can’t use an enrollment rule without painstakingly going through that long list and un-selecting ILTs.

Has anyone else come across this and find a way to do this in a bulk action?

In addition, has anyone been able to trigger an enrollment of a user when an e-learning course is created? I’m assuming someone has been able to do this with an API?

hey @Annarose.Peterson just tried via the user management page and you find this to be an option..it’s not elegant but I think it’ll work.

  1. Goto user management
  2. select Enrols Users at the top right of the page
  3. this opens the enrolment wizard where you can select ALL users
  4. this is where the “fun” begins...in order to only assign eLearning courses, and since there is no direct way to only select those, what I did is to sort the courses by TYPE with “classroom” at the start of the list
  5. Then, select all courses
  6. Then page-by-page, uncheck the top checkbox to unselect everything on the page until you start to see the eLearning types

Good luck.

Thank you @lrnlab  My mind wasn’t even going to the User Management page!
