Hello - We have a learning plan that is linked to a certification that needs to be renewed on an annual basis.  When this learning plan was created, the year was put in the title without the forethought that we would be using it in the following years.  Does anyone have experience with attempting to update the learning plan name (if possible)?  As well as what implications we may face by doing so?

No major implications, the LP name will update in reports, user summary, and certifications. 

The only thing that will not change, if applicable, are the certificates (pdf diplomas) of those that have already completed the course. But you can easily re-issue them with the new name if you desire. Do you have any certificate template associated with the LP?

In order to edit the LP name you need to:

  • Head to the admin menu
  • Click Learning Plans in the first column
  • Click the three dots that appear at the end of the LP row when hovering
  • Click edit
  • Change the title and save

That would be it
