How to make the certification/compliance courses to re-appear on learners dashboard so they know they are expired and need to take them again after a year or two?

Assign Notifications to Courses via API

I’m creating ilt courses via the course api and a python script but I can’t figure out a way to add existing notifications to the newly created courses. The notification api’s documentation is pretty sparse and I’m wondering if the only way to do this is manually. Has anyone found a workaround?

Learning Plans that Sync with Catalogs / Catalog-Based Certifications?

One need that I think we have in our organization is a learning plan that syncs with a catalog - or a catalog-based certification. We’re looking at onboarding external customers into our LMS and to help them find what they need, we’re separating the courses into 3 levels based on complexity. Getting a certificate for completing the level-based catalog would make sense, even if they don’t necessarily follow the content in the order of a learning plan. Catalogs obviously will get updated as new content is added or removed or whatever, and it would be great if there’s either a certificate based on catalog completion or a learning plan can that can sync with the catalog directly.

Reporting on waitlisted learners

I am working on reporting for our ILT and have a filter selected to show waiting users Custom reports>Session enrollment status (including all but suspended users).There are no learners being reported as waiting users, but I know there are waiting users when I look at course management.Any ideas for a work around? Anyone else having this issue?

Groups - Who isn't in one, and who is in too many!

Hi all, I’ve got a massive mandatory testing rollout coming up - one of the modules going out is SM&CR and our compliance function have split the module into several different versions, dependent on job role and SM&CR level. Some of these versions are difficult to organise for as they apply to multiple different users with different job titles, branches, departments etc. and the easiest way I could think of organising it all is by setting up a different group for each version (some with quite complicated assignment rules - manual assignment was a no-go, we just have too many people working for our company!) Long story short - is there a easy(ish) way to check:If there are any people in my user list who don’t belong to one of these groups, and If there are any people who appear in more than one of these groups (due to accidental crossover of assignment rules etc.) Thanks as always for any help you can provide :)Rob

Course enrollments via CSV - user notifications

We would love to have the option to turn off enrollment notifications when doing mass course enrollments via CSV.  The “send notifications” option is available for user management via CSV import shown here, but not course enrollments.The only way we can accomplish that right now is to turn off  ALL course enrollment notifications, run the CSV and then turn it back on, but this is not an option for our Power Users.  Any ideas?

Udemy Courses as Training Materials

We are creating certifications for Data Science. We have pushed some Udemy courses from our Central Repository as training materials in each of the certifications. However, we cannot get the Udemy courses to work. We keep getting the “inpobrms.udemy.com refused to connect” error. Why is this? Has anyone else had this problem? If so, did you find a solution and what is it.

Tracking Quiz Attempts

Hi Docebo Team! Curious about quiz tracking. After some digging I’ve found that Docebo only stores the most recent quiz attempt score. I am wondering if there is any data stored about how many times it takes a user to pass a test? Use Case: We are setting our accepted passing score to 100%, and are wondering if we will be able to see how many attempts it takes users to reach the 100% score (User A took 4 times to pass) Thanks for your help!

Managing Performance Reviews in the LMS

Does anyone have any ideas for managing performance reviews as part of the LMS. So far our team has come up with Observational Checklists (hence OC) assigned to managers. The problem with this is you can’t reassign an OC to your direct report once you, the manager, has filled out the OC. In addition to that, a lot of agencies have compliance requirements that state the performance review has to go to HR for approval there too. So we have a three step process using OCs, but it seems clunky and honestly confusing for the users. Does anyone have a better solution for handling annual, bi-annual, quarterly, and perhaps even monthly performance reviews?

Is the prioritisation in ILT Waiting lists based on Course enrolment, not Session enrolment date?

Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to test this for a while and wanted to know if you’ve noticed the same?It seems like the prioritisation order in ILTs - of who gets provided with a spot in a session from a waiting list - is based on the date of course enrolment, not based on the date of enrolment into the session. Shouldn’t this be the other way round? To illustrate this better: User Enrolment in Course Enrolment in Session Waiting list to Session priority User A 15/05/23 17/05/23 Prioritised over A, because enrolled in the ILT course first User B 16/05/23 16/05/23 Second priority, even though chose a Session first

Notifications for New Users Created Via User Sync

Hello, we create our new users via user sync for external users and via the nightly CSV import for internal users.  (salesforce integration)We would like to send a Welcome to Our Company email directly from the LMS when a new internal user is created via the nightly CSV import process.  The notification option:  “User has been created (by administrator” which "Triggers when a Superadmin creates a new user account." works well when I do it manually for both the internal and external groups get different emails.  What I am trying to figure out: Can we use the automated user creation notification when we are using the out of the box integration with Salesforce to create new users. to send the users that are created automatically the notification?  And if not, is there another notification that would work in this case?

Is there a way to export a list of Notifications?

Is there a way to pull a report or export a list of notifications that includes the parameters of each notification, such as targeted users, groups, courses, learning plans, etc. defined for the notification? I have checked within the Notifications App and within the Custom Reports Builder, but I cannot find a way to do this.

Difference in status between My Courses/Learning Plans and Catalog Views

Hi All, I’m curious if this is something I am seeing simply as an admin or if all users see this. When I review catalog courses by click on the Course Catalog link via the User Menu, courses will show that I’m enrolled even if I completed them. However, when I review the courses via the My Courses and Learning Plans sections, they will correctly show my status as completed. Is this done intentionally? Does this only occur when new versions of training material are uploaded? It seems confusing to me as a learner that they would show differently.Thank You! Jason

Hello community,I tried to find something but couldn’t find an answer:We want to define a list of tags that should be used to avoid that the same tag would be entered in different ways such as:list (singular) lists (plural) lsit (typos)If possible, I would like to avoid cleaning the tags but define them beforehand. Additional enrollment field not available in reporting

We added an additional enrollment field at the request of management to help with some reporting need. The field is added, but it is not showing up as a selectable field in the View Options for a new report. Has anyone run into this?

Multiple enrollment rule creation

Is it possible to create multiple enrollment rules at one time? For the last two years, we have made approximately 400 rules to enroll different groups of users into specific courses and learning plans. At the end of the experience, we then have to go in and deactivate each of those rules so that new users aren’t added. Is there another, more efficient way to create multiple enrollment rules so we don’t have to do them individually?

ILT Certificates & Training Materials Triggered by Attendance

Is anyone aware of a way to trigger certificates and training material for an ILT by attendance? For instance, we have multiple sessions/events in an ILT course, where we want the same training material content and certificate to be awarded upon attendance only for the sessions/events that have taken place. We do not want the materials/cert to be available to the learners who are signed up for an upcoming session/event that hasn’t taken place yet. Any ideas?

Updating specific verbiage in docebo platform through language managment

I am trying to go through the Localization Tools to figure out how to update the terms “E-Learning” to something else (in this case “Recorded asynchronous distance learning”) but when I search it comes up as being used 84 times in the platform. Is there a place I can go and update it once instead of going through each instance? And more specifically, does anyone know what this specific instance is called in the code so I can find it and update it? (See the screenshot attached, where E-learning is on the course block on the catalog.)

Responsive Footer - CSS

I am trying to edit our CSS to allow the footer to be clickable and send folks to a job aid housed in our company’s Share Point. I have no clue about coding, and the person who initially set it up is no longer with our company. How do I add in something to ensure the footer is clickable and takes the user to the job aid on our website? Additionally, I am trying to figure out why the course tiles cover the footer in the catalogs. They scroll right over them and I’m not sure why and would like to fix it. Custom Badge Images Pixelated

Hello! We created custom badge images using the size specs provided by Docebo, but viewing them from our mobile app, the  images are extremely pixelated and blurry. We’ve had a ticket open for weeks trying to resolve, and have even adjusted our image size multiple times based on recommendations from the support team with no success. We’ve been told that the API that moves the badge images into the mobile app transforms them to 128x128 so we tried that size, but that did not help and they were still pixelated on the app.  Does anyone know how Docebo creates their stock badge images? Looking for the software they use to design, how they export, the size, quality, etc - anything that we might be able to try to replicate on our end because so far, we’ve had no luck. Their stock images look sharp and clean, but our custom ones do not :( Thanks!
