Super Admin Handy links page

Hi LMS Super Admin cape wearers,

I’ve been collecting a mighty large list of bookmarks/favourites in my browser which didn’t always follow me working from home, office, other places so I thought how about putting them inside the LMS so I can get them anytime, and also my backup super admins.

I made a menu item that points to a page only visible to the Super Admin group and just made some blocks using the designer tool for pages that link to websites I use all the time. This has resulted in a handy page of useful links and also makes it easier for my backup admins that do not live and breath the LMS on a daily basis.

I’ve also linked to OneDrive storage locations etc.. for eLearning SCORM master docs and so on which means I can really find things quickly. So if this is something you think might help you, check out the custom menus and pages you can build, make sure they are visible to those people or groups you think should see it, and have fun.

and that pages link goes to this page with the following content.

Wow, that looks great! I have found another tool that I find super handy called Bublup. Check it out. https://www.bublup.com/

@jckemv, that’s for sharing that concept. This is something that I hadn’t yet thought to do, but why not, if Admins may need the info and this makes it useful and available right there within the system!  We had a page similar but it is available users, ours just displays helpful links for them.

This is a great idea - thanks for sharing! Love the clean look too. A simple process that goes a long way  We’ve mostly used Channels to share resources with specific groups of users, but I like the idea of this page to consolidate links in one place.

We do something similar for our power users.  We put our helpful links and other help resources (job aides, how to videos) into a Rise course.  Then we host the rise course on one of our servers and link course into Docebo with an iframe.

But I love how you have a space for Super admins only!  Especially including that pending users widget on your page!!!

Thank you for sharing.

@jckemv this is awesome 👏  This gets my gears turning in so many ways! I often find myself jumping around to different bookmarks and Google Drive folders when working on things within Docebo. This is a great way to give users (and yourself) a jumping-off point for all of those resources.

@pmo check this out for Docebo U inspo!

@jckemv  We do something similar, by department. So when a new hire for Marketing starts up they have their specific links they use just for that department. Surprisingly had not thought to use that for myself in the admin side of things, BRILLIANT haha.
