We have had a few customer churns and I need to delete their branches and users within them.
I removed the users and ran the API but received the error that it couldn’t be deleted due to automatic groups being assigned.
Does anyone know how I can remove multiple groups from a Branch so that it can be deleted?
You will need to find the Groups that area associated with the branch(es) you want to delete. Hopefully you have something you can search for in the description or title otherwise you may need to search one by one. Maybe there’s an API that can list the group attributes? That might be quicker. had a Quick Look but couldn't find any that have info on Groups. Perhaps support can help?
The groups are listed which is good as there was one I was able to delete this way. However, there were far too many for me to manually go through.
Luckily, the others were part of enrollment rules so I needed to move the branch from it’s parent branch that was triggering the enrollment rule and then I was able to delete it Via the API.
