Hi everyone,

As many of you highlighted in our recent survey, Job Management is a top priority. We're excited to provide more details on this upcoming feature.

Admins can create a customized list of job roles, choosing whether to disable Docebo's suggested jobs. They can assign the most relevant skills to each job role. With this job-skills relationship established, admins can assign job roles to learners. Learners will have a comprehensive profile showcasing of their assigned job role and related skills, centrally managed by admins.

The Skill Dashboard will be enhanced with new information, graphs, and sections, allowing learners and managers to track their skill development journey more effectively including the skills gaps.

We’d also like to improve the skills-based learning recommendations, providing tailored and more comprehensive suggestions based on skill gaps identified within the learner's job role. A new dedicated page refreshed design will enhance this experience.

Admins will have a dedicated page to configure the Job Management experience according to their organization's specific needs.

We hope this explanation clarifies our direction and that you are excited about this new feature. Stay tuned for more updates!

Yes! Sorely needed and ideally how the feature should work. We’re in the middle of piloting skills and have a few more suggestions but this is a great start. Also interested in the ETA.

This is great.

We will sorely need an import tool to keep everything “apples to apples”. And not suffer from “apples to oranges” - meaning some type of data transformation. Especially with job profiles.

Talking about all this mixed fruit...😁.

After some thought - have you all considered the mapping of skillsets to jobs as an option versus just mapping skills to jobs directly?

We are in the discovery phase of the functionality, and we plan to make it available in 2025, but no specific date has been set at the moment.

+1 We are also interested in the Skillsets to Job mapping. Simplify user, manager experiences and reporting. Looking forward to these enhancements.

Hi @martina.ferrari thanks for the post. Does this mean that today there is no way to disable Docebo's suggested jobs and the possibility for users to populate their profile with “irrelevant” skills (I mean irrelevant for certain client use cases)? I’d be interested in a workaround while waiting for the feature release. Thanks!

This part is correct and it is a blocker for us to implement the Skills module, because obviously we cannot let learners choose from non-industry jobs.

For example we’re in telecommunications and when searching for RAN (which comes from radio access network) we find “forest ranger” and a few other types of “ranger” and we can’t go to our customers with that.

I found no workaround for that, even after checking with Docebo support.

Thanks @emateda

Hi @emateda and @pclaveirole

You can’t control/disable the job list with the current implementation.
This new feature will give admin control on the job list and jobs will be assigned/synchronized versus selected by learners.

About the accuracy on the skills suggestion, we’re working on a new AI service that will improve the quality of the skills suggested to learners.
In the meantime, our recommendation is to control the learners active skillsets to avoid polluting skills.
