Docebo support recommended using the course enrollment link as a URL within Custom Content boxes and WYSIWYG as a way for users to access courses without needing to enroll them on the admin side. We were told this link is static and would not change unless manually modified. 

The reason why we are using custom content/WYSIWYG is due to the design of our site and so using catalogs is not an option for us.

At random, sometimes a week, sometimes a couple days, this enrollment link changes, which then creates an error if the user tries to click on it on the front end as the link used is no longer the correct link. As soon as we copy and paste the new link, it works again. 

We have reached out to Docebo support at least 5 times regarding this issue, we have also looped in our AM and CSM and no one has been able to give us a direct answer.

Can anyone on here confirm this is a static link OR has an idea of what causes the URLs to change? Note: we have not touched the courses or adjusted any settings when it breaks.

hard to say without seeing the code but it does sound odd, especially since it works for a few days and then not…

Are you able to do smoothing with the custom content box instead or perhaps you can build a nice image with text and have that contain the link? Those widgets work well for us.

We are using custom content boxes. It’s happening across widgets, we have screenshots of the actual enrollment URL changing. We’ve tried everything but are being told we need to purchase more support to solve this issue. We were hoping there was someone on here more knowledgeable! 

@jcellitti oh wow...good to know...we haven't had any reports of this occurring so perhaps we’re been lucky...It’s tough to say without seeing it in action...
