Hey everyone,

I’m just after best practices advice, we have recently started using Docebo LMS with onboarding e-learning training working really well for new starters that come into our company whether they are an office employee or operations employee.

I am now at the second stage where I am just thinking about course management, we have some internal training that occurs with our operations workers i.e. machine training (internal) and then compliance training such as forklift, first aid etc. which is refreshed regularly. All data is currently in spreadsheets.

Any advice on the best way to move forward, I was going to add all the training that occurs to course management as ILT for better reporting/analysis. I have seen the external training app but want to report on all training hours etc.

Did this post help you find an answer to your question?

I have questions - is this set of training OJT? Does it require sign-off from a manager or instructor? Is there any testing (and what does that look like)? And what is the completion criteria for the training? The answers to these questions will help drive recommendations.

Hey @JGildea

Some the training is OTJ training and some is external training like forklifts, first aid etc. For external training we have an external company come in to train employees either onsite or at their venue.

For OTJ/internal training we have training criteria documentation through our business management system and once the training is completed, the documentation is signed off by trainer and employee and I then have a set course completion certificate via course management.

I have also just set up course additional fields on the courses of internal/external, cost, time.
