I’d love to know what video editing software everyone is using.

We have a very sophisticated production team that produces a majority of our videos, but also have a ‘tech’ side of the house to create live-drive videos that help our learners understand the technology offerings available to them.

We are currently using Camtasia to do the screen recording and while it’s been great for our teams who are spread across the US, I saw this month’s February 2022 Release Video and fell in love with the chapter markers… which inspired this post.

What are you using to create video content you share in your LMS?

Did this post help you find an answer to your question?

My AMAZING Customer Solutions Expert (seriously love him, so good!) got back to me to let me know that the video above is hosted in Wistia… that YouTube and Vimeo have similar chapter features.

Now I have more research and some thinking to do. ;)

+1 camtasia.

I think the question may be related to video streaming providers.

They have been getting fancier with their overlays more and more.

If you want to dip your toes into a “wrapper” for your video that is free and would want to include some interactivity? Consider H5P….it is an amazing project that came out with a great player years ago.

Recently a branch of their work has gone towards building SCORM courses….
