Sharing .pdf on Docebo

Hi,

Anyone with a good solution to share .pdf documents on Docebo, the user should not be able to print or download the documents.

Did this post help you find an answer to your question?

Hi @dinakarks - You can upload the .pdf file in your course as ‘Slides Converter’ not as ‘File’ or add the file in your Channels.

channels are a good way to go and the asset can be configured to not allow downloading.

I’ve also shared via an embedded google drive link. You have to have https://drive.google.com listed under iFrame Allow List.

Superadmin Menu > Advanced Settings > E-Learning > iFrame Allow List > add

@dinakarks We recently went through this same line of questioning and dug around quite a bit. The slide converter is a great option, as mentioned by others, but it doesn’t have the best navigation from what we saw. Just a backward and forward button. If you have a PDF with numerous pages it may be a lot to try to work through. We haven’t come up with a solution quite yet that’s right for us but here’s a post we read through and took other suggestions from as well that may help in your case:
