Power Users & Unassigned Resources

Hi Community - Just wanted to share, see if anyone has had similar experiences.

We have an employee user base of 4,000 users.

We have Power Users responsible for their departments and approving self enrollments.

Twice now, we have had the system allow a Power User approve an enrollment for an employee not in their assigned resources (branch). The response from support is, looks like a fluke - sorry we don’t know why… Or our needs this can be highly problematic.

Has anyone experienced this or something similar?

Did this post help you find an answer to your question?

never had this happen when the permissions are correct...Have you rechecked all your PU and their resources to ensure there is no cross over in your groups? If you have a lot it may be hard to identify. Also have a look at the whether any of your PU’s could potentially be assigned to more than 1 branch (under user mgmt).

Thank you @lrnlab yes - I’ve been looking deeply at those settings. Docebo Tech and my reps have said it looks like a bug and cannot see anything in resource assignment that would allow it. I’ll keep peeking at it.
