February 2023: Mid-Month Release

Power Users’ permissions on session enrollments

As communicated on December 5, 2022, for those using the Power Users app, the Edit Enrollments permission is now available to allow Power Users to manage the enrollment status of their users in Instructor-Led Training (ILT) sessions. As a result, the ILT Sessions/ Enroll Users permission alone will no longer allow Power User to modify enrollments.

At release time, the Edit Enrollments permission will be assigned to all of the Power Users assigned to the ILT Sessions/ Enroll Users permission not to alter their current operations. Find out more about Power User permissions.

userid returned without leading slash by the /learn/v1/instructor/getInstructorData API

As communicated on November 7, 2022, for those using the /learn/v1/instructor/getInstructorData API, the value of the userid property is now returned without the leading slash. This means that “/username” is returned as “username”.

Recipes for integrating with Qualtrics now available

New recipes for triggering an evaluation survey in Qualtrics after a course has been completed are now available in Docebo Connect.

Does this include Course thumbnails (and training material thumbnails)?
For design cohesion purposes it’s imperative that we are able to leverage our own thumbnail design to maintain the learner experience.

@Annalisa how does this change impact LinkedIn Learning courses? We edit fields like the category, average time, and CEU. This data is absolutely essential to us for our compliance and professional development KPIs. Will we no longer be able to edit these fields?

Not being able to edit the CLOR object to include search tags could be a problem. Will we be able to edit the course details, at least, to include Skill tags? I’d prefer the skill tags come over from the vendor, actually, but that doesn’t seem to be the case yet.

This is one of our challenges with LIL as well. The skill tags don’t come over from the vendor. The categories don’t populate correctly either, so we have to manually edit them.

I understand the need to safeguard third-party data integrity, but I feel like if Docebo is going to lock down marketplace course properties, then there needs to be better syncing in the form of more complete data feeds coming over from these vendor platforms.

Hello everyone contributing in this thread,
Paolo here, Product Manager at Docebo, thank you for sharing your feedback around this update.

I can confirm that we will be removing the possibility to replace the actual content coming from Marketplace; however, the possibility to edit Description, Thumbnail and Tags will remain absolutely available.

Referring to course shells, those will not be impacted by this update, meaning that fields that you can find in Course Properties will be editable (including Category, Average time, and Credits).

I hope this will clarify the scope of the update.

Thank you

Paolo
