We’d like to provide some instructions for Users to help them self-register.  Branches appears to be a difficult concept for them to grasp.  Either they do not pick a Branch and it defaults to the first one on the list or they choose an incorrect Branch.  Has anyone found a way to provide instructions on the self-registration page?

So here is an idea - we only do a limited amount of self-registration - and it is mostly done in our case to support a slim count of usecases. So we have the business owners of those use cases (mostly compliance and a few externally facing workflows) own the delivery of a one sheeter to send along a branch/course code to folks. That locks people into the right thing on the first try.

Beyond that though - you will want to consider the security first and then consider if you can post a help document via google slides or google drive or some modern filesharing so that you can have people get to an instruction so that they know better of what to do. If that is not viable, you may be able to upload a document into your docebo instance - inspect the source and get a valid url for a document. I know it works with images, but I am not sure with other assets.

I dont think you can inject a url in your registration instructions - but if you are trying to do that, you can try adjusting some of the text with the localization tool that comes up on your registration page.

We use Extended Enterprise to have a separate URL for various branches, so people who self register are automatically in the branch for that domain.  We then customize content and menus based on Groups that are built off the information that the user provides when they register.
