Hi Folks,

I’m new to Docebo and trying to analyze some notification.

Few people got notification saying their certification is due for renewal , where as they just completed the certification and the next renewal is in 2025.

How can i check those specific notifications and see why it got triggered ??

Hi @rale

For information on specific notifications and the conditions that trigger them, please see the following help article.

https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4429113070226

Currently, there is no notification log but there is an idea you can vote for below.

In the meantime, in Advanced Settings - Advanced Options you can set an email address to receive a CC of all outgoing notifications to serve as a temporary workaround for the lack of a log.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your reply. I see the Idea started a year back and no update on that yet..

Is there any other way to troubleshoot for now or nothing ??

I don't personally know of a way to troubleshoot notifications, but someone else might do.

@Bfarkas Any ideas?

Sorry….I don’t know of a good way to do anything that would be helpful here. Only thing that comes to mind is to double and triple check the settings, is it possible they are enrolled in something in addition to the certification you say is not until 2025? If it really is al set up right and someone gets it that should not be, I would suggest opening a ticket as that sounds like a bug at that point.

We set up a group email that is only used for sending out all Docebo notifications. We use Google here, so anyone on the team can go to the group and then search for any employee through their email and pull up any notification that has been sent.

One of our previous LMS platforms actually documented every notification, and you could pull it up on the employee’s page, along with any training, and run reports, as well.

I think the nuance here is trying to find what triggered the email, so like what your old platform did and what the idea above is looking for, since they seem to be incorrectly sent, so just seeing a copy of it does not really get to the bottom of that.

Thanks. I just wanted to solve for the other issue in that Docebo does not provide any information about who receives those notifications, and when reaching out to their support services, it is nice to be able to provide them with the notifications in bulk now.

Thanks, Daniel -

We set up a group email that sends out all of the Docebo notifications that we can now search. It has been in place for about six-months now, and works pretty well.
