Printing or exporting transaction details for learners

We get requests from learners to be able to print out transaction details so they can get reimbursement from their employers. Is there an easy way to do this or automate it? CUrrently they can go to their My Transactions page and see the details, but there is no print or export.

Power users can go into the transaction details and export or print but it is not branded or configurable. So typically we end up screenshotting, then pasting the image onto our letterhead and sending the customer a PDF.

I looked and there is also no purchase based notifications other than a wire transfer. But these are credit card transactions.

We use Authorize.net as a payment partner, should I be looking to them for this?

Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution?  It feels like there should be a really easy way for a customer to print an invoice or a receipt.

It is possible to print a receipt by going to a special URL and printing the page.

https://YOURURL/ecommerce/cart/receipt/#####  (replace the ##### with the transaction number)

That URL is accessible to the student, superadmins, and (with permissions) to Power Users.

You could set up automation and an “additional user field” to have a place for these URLs to be made available to students.

We also have a special automation set up where the account executive can put in the transaction number and have a PDF emailed to the student.

Agree this is a gap as are several other parts of the eCommerce process. I would suggest you look for some ideas to vote up.

Here’s one:

Please vote it up even if it says “closed”

@elamast interesting...is this something Docebo provided or is it an external tool?

We pretty much “roll our own” around here.

The workflows are built with Make (Integromat).  The one that creates PDFs also uses OneSimpleAPI with an HTML template I built.

The front end to the receipt generator can be built with Cognito Forms, PowerApps, or pretty much anything as long as it can send a webhook.
