Has anyone taken the Certification exam yet?   Anything you can share?

I’m not looking for information about the exam content, just curious about the process of sitting for the exam, any surprises you ran into that you were prepared for (technology, processes, etc.)?  I’ve never taken a remote proctored exam before, so this will be a new experience for me!

Did this post help you find an answer to your question?

*Exam/certification process… sorry, I didn’t see the typo in the title of this post until AFTER I posted it.   🤦

@sjennings78 I took it last week :) no surprises really, you download the proctoring software and then go to Docebo U from the Guardian browser (this is walked through in the course materials as well). Once you launch the course from the proctored browser you have your picture taken and also show your identification to the camera. Make sure your workspace is clear of materials and keep your eyes on the screen while you take the test so it doesn’t look like you’re cheating. I’m one of those people that looks around while I’m thinking so that was the hardest part 😂 (besides some of the questions of course).

They do a good job of thoroughly explaining the process in the course materials a couple of times before you launch the exam so you should feel pretty confident you’re ready to go by the time you hit start.

Thanks, @Jenna M.  I was curious how picky it was with the looking around part…  I am bad about staring off in the distance or looking up when I’m trying to think hard.  🤣

Congrats on passing the exam, @Jenna M.!

Did you use the full 90 minutes for the exam? When getting the results, did you know which exact questions you answered correctly?

@Paulina Thank you! :) It took me about 60 minutes and I received my score at the end but not a review of the answers to see what I got right/wrong.

@Jenna M.  was the score broken down to the main sections (User management, Reporting, Integrations etc.), or was it only a general one for the whole exam?

I know it was only a month ago but I’m honestly struggling to remember what exactly it showed me at the end, but I don’t believe I got a breakdown because I was super curious about how I scored in each category (to back up my assumptions on my weak areas) and I only remember seeing my overall score and the confirmation that I passed along with the info to post the certification on LinkedIn. The questions are tough but there’s also partial credit given that was laid out in the study guide for multiple answer questions so it’s not just pass/fail for every question.
