We have a new situation coming up and I wanted to get your feedback: We have 74 different companies who are part of our organization. Each company will put their employees through a course we’re hosting (administered by a manager at each company). If each of these company admins is only given power user permissions over that course and their own company, shouldn’t we be able to avoid creating 74 versions of the course and use that single course in each company’s learning plan?

Yes, that could work. Just realize that you have 74 PU with access to the course. As such, I’d suggest a read-only view.
If each company has their own existing learning plan, remember that adding a new course to it will make any one who has completed the learning plan now incomplete.
This also limits you if you ever need to make an update of the course materials.. to one company but not the other 73.

+1You are correct. We also do B2B business. So I’d set-up a “master” Learning Plan (let’s call it “XYZ”) that all of 74 companies would take. I’d ensure that it only contains only e-courses and NOT ILTs.
I’d create a Branch for each of the 74
I’d create an automatic enrollment group for each of the 74.
I’d create my ILTs for all 74 (if applicable).
Then I’d assign all 74 clients to the one “XYZ” learning plan (along with facilitators and if applicable Power Users).
Then I’d head to the Power User Management and assign your 74 groups to your various facilitators and power users. Assigning them to the group and any applicable ILTs
Then I’d set up a lot of enrollment rules… at least 74… and if you have live sessions, then it’d be double that number.
