I sent a test email as a manager to one of their reports in My Team. The message came to my test email but it is from our academy/training email instead of the manager that sent it.

Would this confuse the employee or team member about who sent them an email if the manager does not sign off their name at the end of the message? Or should we/admin set up something in the platform to make this more clear? If yes, what is the recommendation?

@isaal You have intrigued so I tested it and the email came from the manager’s email account...maybe check that your manager has a personal email rather than a group box?

Oh that is a good catch.  The way I see it, there should be options to add a sender name and address, like we have in the Notifications.  Otherwise this could really confuse folks!

@Annarose.Peterson yes, exactly. My email was pretty basic - Hi Marie, please take this course before our meeting next week.

I didn’t put a name at the end and looks like our department was sending it to them. Also, if they reply, it comes to our general inbox and we would need to forward it to their manager.

@lrnlab ah yes, thank you for pointing this out. @Annarose.Peterson the setup was user error and it is fine. 🤗

We had similar problem, and chose to have the Institute Team signature. We always include a note indicating that if they have a questions to speak with their online training administrator. That alleviated the confusion with the emails.
