Hi there Community!

Are you ready for the weekend? :sunglasses:

Before that, the last work-related topic I’d like to share with you is focused on some insights about one of the most common themes I deal with in my best practices calls with clients.

I’m referring to questions like: “How can I help my users to get more involved and engaged in their learning journey through the platform?” or “How can I boost them to “play” with Docebo?”

Well, to be honest, I think “play” is a keyword. :bangbang:

As you know, we all like play, challenge each other to reach goals and be awarded for that!

Everybody likes succeeding in a game and be considered as a “champion”! :trophy: :first_place:

So why can’t we exploit this innate desire to promote learning activities?

The Gamification App is a useful tool Docebo provides to give you the chance of enhancing the usage of your platform, encouraging people taking courses and establishing relationships with other colleagues.

You can learn and have fun at the same time! :white_check_mark:

Remember also that, as most of you probably know, a positive reinforcement is a way to influence people’s behaviour. As the “nudge theory” teaches, indirect elements can help you to reach your goals.

Well, you are now probably asking yourself: “How can I do this through Docebo?” :question:

In an easy and effective way!

Firstly, if you haven’t done it till now, you can activate the Gamification App and you’ll be the first playing with it.

1 Create badges users can earn when they complete specific tasks, such as a specific number of courses, a Learning Plan or if they give a contribution in a forum …

2 Create a contest and choose the goal that should be achieved within a defined timeframe… and let’s challenge!

3 Create leaderboards to show people with the highest amount of points (Champions!)

4 Reward people with special prices using the Reward Marketplace!!! (Remember, they are like nudges in your learning strategy! :peanuts:

5…last but not least ENJOY! :rocket:
